Road Worker Day of Remembrance 2024

On November 9, we observe the annual Road Worker Day of Remembrance, a day dedicated to honouring road workers who have tragically lost their lives or endured serious injuries while working to keep our roads safe.

Road workers are the unsung heroes who play a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure our communities rely on every day. Just like anyone heading to work, they deserve to return home safely to their loved ones. At Acusensus, we are committed to enhancing road safety, which includes improving safety conditions for roadside workers.

Acusensus is developing a Road Worker Safety solution. This technology delivers real-time monitoring, alerts and tracking to reduce risks in one of the world’s most hazardous work environments. Currently in a Proof of Concept phase supported by Fulton Hogan, this solution empowers road workers to collect data crucial for predicting and preventing accidents before they happen.
