Success of Acusensus Heads-Up Technology featured on Channel Nine News

On Wednesday night, 10 May 2023, Acusensus was featured on Channel Nine News for the success of reducing rates of mobile phone use on NSW roads.

NSW was the first jurisdiction in the world to introduce Mobile Phone detection cameras and the statistics show positive behaviour change, leading to safer roads.

In 2019, 1 in every 82 drivers was using a mobile phone while driving. Currently, the rates have gone down to 1 in 534 drivers. Acusensus is proud of the 85% reduction rate in 3 years.

Heads-Up is currently deployed in NSW and QLD and internationally in the US, UK and other jurisdictions.
