National Safe Work Month 2024

October is National Safe Work Month – a time to reflect and take action to create safer, healthier workplaces across Australia. Safe Work Australia’s initiative reminds us all of the ongoing commitment required to improve workplace health and safety nationwide.

At Acusensus, we are proud to be contributing to this important cause. With the support of Swinburne University of Technology‘s Centre for Design Innovation and funding from the National Road Safety Action Grants Program, we are currently piloting a Road Worker Safety solution. This cutting-edge technology aims to protect roadside workers by providing real-time monitoring, alerts and tracking, which helps to reduce risks in one of the most hazardous work environments.

Our solution is currently in a Proof of Concept phase, supported by Fulton Hogan, to ensure it addresses the unique challenges faced by road workers. We are committed to developing a solution that will help prevent roadside fatalities and enhance worker safety across Australia.
