Acusensus Wins Tender for Western Australia Multi-function Enforcement Contract
Acusensus is proud to announce that we will be working with the Western Australian Government to deliver our Multi-function Enforcement Solution across Western Australia roads.
This contract represents Acusensus’ 11th multi-year agreement and marks the fifth Australian jurisdiction to adopt our innovative technology to enforce mobile phone offences.
The Multi-function Enforcement Solution is designed to simultaneously detect multiple road safety violations, including mobile phone usage, seatbelt non-compliance, point speed, average speed and unregistered vehicles. This is the first time all of the Multi-function solution’s capabilities will be deployed in a single enforcement program.
Acusensus Managing Director Alexander Jannink said This unique offering, which marks Acusensus’ first contract to combine these different types of enforcement into one trailer platform, will amplify the ability of the WA Road Safety Commission to enhance road safety outcomes across the state. This new contract marks the fifth jurisdiction in Australia to be using Acusensus’ technology to enforce mobile phone offences.’
