Acusensus Selected for Nationwide Mobile Speed Camera Enforcement Program in New Zealand
Acusensus is proud to announce that we have been selected as a successful supplier for a nationwide mobile speed camera enforcement program in New Zealand. In partnership with New Zealand Transport Authority Waka Kotahi (NZTA), we will be delivering localised, high-quality operations for this significant road safety initiative.
The program, slated to commence in 2025, will deploy a mix of vehicle-based and trailer-based enforcement solutions to reduce casualties across the country.
Tara Macmillan, NZTA Head of Regulatory Strategic Programmes, announced in NZTA’s official media release that this decision is derived from evidence that “a mix of signed and unsigned safety cameras of various types generates greater road safety benefits than either one alone.”
Acusensus is honoured to collaborate with NZTA, leveraging innovative technology to enhance safety for both road users and enforcement operators. This initiative underscores our shared commitment to making communities safer by reducing crashes and casualties on New Zealand’s roads.
We look forward to supporting New Zealand’s leadership in road safety and delivering solutions that save lives.
